Epilogue: The Glory of Declaring His Righteousness

“They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and
very green, to declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and
there is no unrighteousness in Him.” — Psalm 92:14–15

Why does God keep His people green in old age?

Why are the righteous still bearing fruit when others are fading? The psalm gives a clear answer: To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Your endurance is not just for you.

God sustains you so that others might see Him through you. He keeps your spirit alive so you can testify—not just to what He’s done, but to who He is.

In a world that constantly questions the justice and goodness of God, your faithful witness matters. It cuts through the noise. It reminds others that God is not only kind—He is right. He is trustworthy. He is blameless.

Even when life is hard.

Even when prayers aren’t answered the way we hoped.

Even when suffering is part of the story.

Your longevity is a pulpit. Your peace is a platform. Your endurance is a sermon.

You may not preach with words. But when your life declares, *”The Lord is upright; He is my rock,”* you are finishing well.

You are bearing the kind of fruit that honors Him and strengthens others.

So don’t underestimate the power of your presence. Don’t think your role is small. If your life declares the righteousness of God, you are doing what you were planted to do.
