Introduction

God is not impressed by talent. He is not moved by credentials. He is not persuaded by charisma. From Genesis to Revelation, we see the same pattern repeated: God chooses and uses men and women not because of their résumé—but because of their heart.

He used a shepherd with a sling. A farmer with a yoke. A widow with two coins. A teenager with trembling faith. A prophet with a stutter. And a tax collector with a past. Not because they were exceptional—but because they were surrendered.

God is still looking.

“For the eyes of the Lord roam throughout the earth, so that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” — 2 Chronicles 16:9

This devotional is not about becoming better. It’s about becoming yielded. It’s about unlearning the performance-driven faith we’ve inherited and returning to the quiet place where God forms the hearts He uses. The hearts that are broken. Honest. Obedient. Purified by truth and ignited by love.

Each day of this journey is designed to do one thing: bring your heart back under the gaze of God. Not to impress Him—but to be searched by Him. To lay down the masks, the noise, the self-willed striving—and let the Spirit do what only He can do.

You don’t need to be a pastor, a missionary, or a leader to be used by God. You only need to be available. He does not require perfection—He requires surrender.

Let these thirty days be an altar. Come low. Come honest. Come hungry. And ask the question that changes everything – “is my heart one God can use?”

Let’s begin.
